AI-Powered Educational Design
These interactive learning experiences were created using AI collaboration without requiring traditional coding expertise. Unlike conventional course authoring tools that often have steep learning curves and limited flexibility, these artifacts were developed through conversational prompts with AI systems.
Each artifact demonstrates how educators can leverage AI to quickly create custom, interactive learning tools tailored to specific educational objectives. What would traditionally require teams of developers and instructional designers can now be produced with just a few thoughtful prompts, making advanced instructional technology accessible to a broader range of educators.
Forklift Safety Simulation
An interactive educational tool that puts learners in the role of a safety consultant investigating warehouse hazards. Users conduct investigations, identify safety risks (blind corners, damaged racking, etc.), implement controls within a limited budget ($50,000), and experience the consequences of their decisions through simulated outcomes.
This gamified approach to safety training engages learners in practical decision-making that mirrors real-world safety management challenges in industrial settings with forklift operations.

This web-based tool explores the dual nature of Horace's Epode 5 from both horror and satirical perspectives. Users can toggle between these interpretative frameworks to better understand the poem's tonal complexity through section-by-section analysis of the original Latin text, English translation, and scholarly interpretations.
The tool breaks down the poem into four key sections (Opening Scene, Canidia's Ritual, Boy's Transformation, Final Lament) and provides detailed context on the boy's transformation from helpless victim to prophetic figure. It also connects the poem to Roman philosophical views on death and curse poetry traditions, highlighting how Horace deliberately plays with genre expectations.
Open in New WindowLockout/Tagout Safety Decision Scenario
An interactive lockout/tagout (LOTO) safety scenario that guides users through critical workplace safety decisions. This simulation presents learners with five key decision points covering the complete LOTO process: preparation and notification, power isolation, identification and tagging, energy verification, and safe restoration.
The tool provides immediate feedback on decisions, calculates a safety score, and highlights critical mistakes that could lead to simulated workplace incidents. Color-coded visual cues and clear explanations reinforce proper LOTO procedures, making it an effective training tool for industrial safety programs.
With its professional interface and evidence-based design, this scenario transforms what would typically be passive safety training into an engaging decision-making experience that has real consequences - without the real-world risks.
Open in New WindowAbout These Artifacts
These interactive learning artifacts were created to provide engaging, accessible educational experiences that complement traditional teaching methods. Each tool is designed with specific learning objectives in mind while supporting various learning preferences and needs.
What makes these artifacts unique is the streamlined creation process. Through collaborative prompting with AI, I was able to design, develop, and deploy sophisticated interactive learning tools without writing code myself. This approach dramatically reduces the time and technical barriers typically associated with creating custom educational technology.
The artifacts are hosted on Vercel, allowing for seamless embedding and integration into various learning environments. They can be accessed directly through this showcase page or opened in a new window for a full-screen experience.
All tools are designed with accessibility in mind, following WCAG guidelines to ensure they're usable by the widest possible audience of learners.
